MARC DORCEL launches Europe's first 3D video download service

MARC DORCEL, a European leader in the adult entertainment market, is to launch the Continent’s first 3D video download service without digital rights management (DRM), following on the launch in November last year of the first 3D subscription Video-on-Demand service with French telecom operator FREE.

MARC DORCEL says that, with this service hosted on website www.dorcelvision.com, it offers users a “privileged access to exclusive videos especially designed for 3D and produced with the newest recording technologies (3D cameras, side-by-side, full HD).”

All videos are available on three different formats: Windows Media, DivX and MPEG H264 without DRM. These videos can be watched on the users’ PCs or 3D TV sets.

The service’s 3D content is produced jointly with French technology company 3DLized, a specialist in 3D cinema and advertising, 3D post-production and 2D-to-3D conversion, for which it developed proprietary tools.

The 3D video offering is organised around ten themes – “girls only”, “nurses”, “pornochic”, “fetish,” etc. – with the addition of new videos each week.

These 3D videos are available on FREE (France), NUMERICABLE (France & Belgium), “n” (Poland) and Sky (Italy). MARC DORCEL will shortly announce the development of this service with other French and European operators.
