B.R. Productions & Packaging GmbH has joined the One-Blue product licensing programme as a licensee. The German company, located at Gorlitz (East Saxony), will now have access to patents essential to the Blu-ray Disc standard from leading licensors CyberLink, Dell, Fujitsu, Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi, JVC Kenwood, LG Electronics, Panasonic, Pioneer, Philips, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, Taiyo Yuden and Yamaha.

For hardware and software products, the product license covers Blu-ray Disc, DVD and CD patents; for discs, the product license covers Blu-ray Disc patents. B.R. Productions & Packaging has taken out a One-Blue license for BD ROM Discs.

The company is an independent replication facility that manufactures, prints, and packs CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray Discs for businesses across Germany and most of Europe. It also provides logistics services.

To date, 92 manufacturers are listed as licensed by One-Blue from more than 15 countries.
