Hannover-based Entertainment Distribution Company GmbH is to manufacture DVD and Blu-ray discs for the feature film releases of SES Limited's world number 1 sports entertainment brand, World Wrestling Entertainment. EDC will also handle DVD and Blu-ray replication for SES's Marvel Knights catalogue.

The three-year deal marks the first time that SES and EDC have worked together and will see the German manufacturer producing discs for the UK and European markets from April onwards. Inside Out is one of the first WWE film titles handled by EDC.

"Both WWE Studio Films and Marvel are globally renowned brands with a strong European following and we're looking forward to delivering some great releases to the fans," says Paul Murphy, European Sales & Marketing Director for EDC.

Entertainment Distribution Company is the largest, fully integrated optical disc manufacturing and distribution site in Europe. The company was established in 2005 following the acquisition of the manufacturing and distribution facilities of the Universal Music Group. EDC provides supply chain services to some of the leading companies including Universal, Philips, Activision and Blaupunkt.
