Barely a month after it filed for bankruptcy, Swedish optical media test equipment maker AudioDev announced its was back in business, “stronger and better prepared.”
AudioDev says its restructuring has now been completed, with “all key resources staying on,” retaining its competence and a strong financial position. The strategy is to continue to build a “comprehensive company that offers state-of-the-art testing tools and services to the optical media industry, and others.” AudioDev’s intention is to remain “the preferred supplier” of test equipment.
The strategy to diversify the product portfolio with TFM (Thin Film Metrology) products is retained. AudioDev will continue TFM development activities at its plant in Germany. As regards the optical media industry, AudioDev will continue to offer the same products and services as before.
“It is our intention that our customers and partners shall not be affected by the restructuring” says Marianne Sernevi, CEO and President of AudioDev. “Being a group of skilled and dedicated professionals, we look forward to a continued cooperation for many years to come.”
