Sony BD titles to include PSP digital copy
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will start including into the Blu-ray disc of a new release a digital copy which can be played on the PlayStation Portable (PSP). The digital file can be transferred from the BD disc to a PSP using a PlayStation 3.
Released on November 10, Godzilla is the first title that will get the BD+PSP treatment. Another new release The Ugly Truth will also include, on separate DVD, the digital copy playable on a PC.
Digital copy is the latest addition to SPHE’s range of advanced Blu-ray value-added features, which also include BD-Live, movieIQ (real-time movie information), social networking through cinechat, multiplayer games, an interactive video editing suite, as well as soundtrack playlists, e-Movie Cash, and exclusive features.
