Company One For All has launched SmartControl – the first universal remote to work with all the latest digital equipment such as HDTV, DVB-T, iPod docks, Blu-ray, Playstation2, Xbox 360, Full HD LCD, home cinema systems and MP3 players.
This new remote features SmartControl technology, allowing consumers to control up to six audio-visual devices in their living room at the touch of one button, consolidating the multiple remotes currently used – and for under £25 (€28).
Pressing 'Watch Movie', for example, can control the volume on the TV set, as well as the movie functions of a DVD player and amplifier at the same time. Similar pre-programmed buttons for 'Watch TV' and 'Listen to Music' enable users to manage all the main functions of the home a/v equipment
The remote also features SimpleSet, a unique three-button set-up system for all the most popular brands.
“It is also a design statement, its sleek and timeless look matching the designs of new media devices such as Blu-ray players, iPod dock stations and the latest in LCD/LED screens,” says the company. The remote has a rrp of £24.99 (€28).
