VDC Group, the UK’s largest independent optical disc manufacturer, is to install a Blu-ray replication line, making it the first company in the country with in-house BD mastering and replication facilities.

Equipment purchased includes Singulus BLULINE II and CrystalLine mastering system. Installation will start in September with the first disc production (BD25/50) planned for mid October. The company operate from 130,000 sq foot replication and distribution plant in Park Royal and Wembley in London.

VDC Group has been offering manufacturing and distribution services for over 28 years. Clients range from small independents to large blue chip businesses from music, multimedia, home entertainment and other business sectors.
