DaTARIUS will be playing host, at its Austrian headquarters, to the DVD Forum's Verification Seminar on 14 September. The major themes of the seminar are Format Verification for DVD/HD DVD test specifications and HD DVD Format/Logo Licence. The company will also be running its own Blue Days technical seminar in conjunction with this event.

"Our seminar will provide comprehensive information for anyone involved in the manufacture of HD DVD and BD," said DaTARIUS CCO Thomas Hackl. "In addition to a special keynote session, experts from throughout the industry will be offering technical insights along with market information and projections."

Representatives of leading companies including DCA, Oerlikon, Singulus, Singulus Mastering, and technotrans, will deliver sessions covering every stage of optical media manufacture and fulfilment. In addition, DaTARIUS will be showcasing its own quality control technology, including its CoverTest technology for stamper testing.
"Attendees at the Blue Days seminars will be given 'live' demonstrations of blue laser technology and testing solutions," said Hackl, "with technical experts on hand to answer questions and explain the manufacturing process in depth."
